So far I've been unable to locate an Win7 driver for the X1400 from Lenovo. I've been running Windows 7 Professional 64bit on a LG laptop with Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics with no problems. But having just re-greased the stuff under the heat sink, I know that'll happen only after the winter Olympics are held in Hades. The user in the last post has a R60 with the X1400. have a peek here

Right click card, update driver, browse, let me pick, have disk, browse, now find the .inf in the extracted folder that the setup previously created. no difficulties other than I manually had to select the newest drivers for a couple of things (e.g my ThinkPad 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Mini PCI Express Adapter)...

Miracle fixes? Windows installed the standard windows VGA graphics driver which seem to work fine and allow the full screen resolution to be used (1400x1050) and everything in the garden was rosy. The only problems are seeing are the usual BS from Mickeysoft and dealing with a video card that has no clue about 3D.
